What are the Kidzplay party options? (top)

There are 4 types of Kidzplay party - so you can really build the party you want. From the bronze ‘Happy Birthday’ theme through to the characters and themes of Silver parties and the Super Deluxe Gold Party with all the themed trimmings, we have a party to suit you! Maybe you want to bring a group and organise food or host a ‘Casual’ party - well you can do this too at Kidzplay - visit our party page to see what parties we have on offer, build your party package and confirm your booking.

I want a themed party but my preferred theme isn’t on your list - what can I do? (top)

We know how important it is to you that your party is just as the Birthday child imagines it to be - that’s why we’ve put together a list of the most popular themes. However, if the theme you were after isn’t on this list please contact us to let us know and we will see what we can do for you. If you want to include something unusual or a different theme, please either fill in our Special Requests box when booking your party or contact us on 01423 816111.

Can I bring my own things to go in the party bags? (top)

There are various rules and regulations, which mean that it’s really hard to find party bags fillers that meet all the required standards! However, if you want to include extra toys or goodies in the party bags, you can add these on from the Add On section of the Party Products. When you manage your party booking, simply click on add to my booking to buy extra party bag fillers.

Do you provide food for adults? (top)

We have a selection of adult food platters designed with hungry party parents in mind. Whether you want a platter of warm savoury treats prepared by our chef, a selection of sandwiches or a tray of cakes and pastries, we’re sure you’ll find something to feed the party parents. Have a look on our party products page and add on a platter!

What food do the children eat at the party buffet? (top)

We know that children have their fads and favourites and so want to make sure that there’s always something that tempts them at the party table. You can choose a hot or cold party buffet and we’ll make sure there’s plenty of choice for the children, from sandwiches and crisps to pizza and fruit, sausage rolls to ice cream.

Why do I need to pay a room hire fee? (top)

Each party has a £30 room hire fee, which replaces your deposit. This means that having confirmed the numbers of children who will be at the party a week beforehand, you will only be asked to pay for the number of children who turn up for the party. The room hire fee replaces the minimum number of children, which means that you can invite who you wish to your party!

What can I add onto my party to make it extra special? (top)

Would you like to make your party extra special? Perhaps you’d like to add extra toys and sweets into the party bag have a themed cake, or more themed surprises for the birthday child? Well, you can! When you manage your party booking, make sure you check out all the fantastic Add on’s.

I’ve booked my party - now what do I need to do? (top)

Once you have booked your party, you will receive an email from us, asking you to confirm your booking a week before the party. You can log onto Kidzplay to confirm children’s details and keep changing things if you want. Once you’ve confirmed the number of children, you just need to turn up to the Kidzplay centre, 10 minutes before your party to meet your party guests as they arrive.

I need to change the number of children at the party - can I do this? (top)

Yes. You need to log into your Kidzplay account, and click Manage my account, at the top of any page of the Kidzplay website. Click on Manage my Party Booking and follow the instructions on screen.

One of the children has a special diet - can you cater for him/her? (top)

We cater for many special dietary needs - from vegetarian to wheat and dairy free diets, religious requirements to special favourites. Make sure you let us know, either in the special requirements field of your booking or by giving us a call on 01423 816111.

What do I need to bring with me to the party? (top)

Very little - our party packages are designed with a stress free experience for parents in mind. You just need to provide the children (and cake and candles if you wish or you can even add these on!) and we’ll take care of everything else!

Can brothers and sisters of party guests come too? (top)

Of course they can - it’s your party so you can invite whoever you like! If younger or older brothers and sisters want to come to the party, it’s up to you if you include them in your party numbers. If you want them to take a full part in the party, receive a party bag and have a place set at the party table, they should be included in the total party numbers you confirm before the party. If you want to pay for their entry to play during the time of your party, you can do this or if they just want to come as a spectator and ‘supervise’ they can do so too.

How many adults should come to the party? (top)

As many adults can come to the party as you like. As the person who makes the booking you are ultimately responsible for the children at your party, so it makes sense to have some grown up help on your side! The parents of party children can stay, have a coffee and catch up with friends, aunts, uncles and grandparents are welcome to come too. (We recommend a ratio of one adult per five children at a party)

I don’t want to enter my credit card details online, how else can I pay? (top)

Our website is virus-free and totally safe for you to use your credit or debit card but we understand that some people would rather pay in person, by post or via the telephone. If you would prefer to pay this way then feel free to call us on 01423 816111 and we can sort this out for you. Alternatively you can log back onto the website and pay here, using our secure payment provider Protx.
